Paul worked for over 25 years in education, initially in Secondary but for the majority of the time in Further Education.
He started his career teaching Humanities and Physical Education in a secondary school. This role developed and Paul progressed to become a Head of a large and diverse faculty in a college.
During this time Paul was an active national council member of the Association of College Managers, where he was involved in negotiations with all the principle national education bodies. He was a regular speaker in the Further Education circuit at venues as diverse as Pasadena, California for the American Rank Xerox Education Conference, to the National College Marketing Conference.
Paul left the education sector in 2001 to set up his own business. He has been involved in various roles with both South Axholme Academy and the Isle Education Trust since 2002.
Trevor has worked in Education for almost 40 years. He began his career in an 11-16 secondary school in Doncaster becoming a Head of Department. Following reorganisation of schools, he moved into 9-13 Middle schools and subsequently primary where he became a Headteacher. He was also seconded as a Headteacher to lead a school judged by Ofsted that required special measures to improve.
Trevor has experience of working in 4 local authorities in the North and Midlands. Prior to retirement he worked as a school improvement adviser in Nottinghamshire. He is a qualified School Improvement Partner supporting and challenging schools to improve, and liaising with Ofsted during and after inspections. On becoming Head of Service for both Primary and Secondary schools he led a team of inspectors, advisers and consultants across the county. At this time Nottinghamshire were invited by the Department for Education to support other local authorities to improve.
Sarah has worked in schools for over 20 years, starting as a mathematics teacher. She was Assistant Headteacher at a large 11-16 school responsible for curriculum/timetable, IT and finance before joining South Axholme Academy in 2010 as Deputy Head. Sarah has experience of working in 4 Local Authority areas across the country. She has been Principal at South Holme Academy for 3 years and Head of Trust for 2 years. Sarah is a LLE (Local Leader of Education) and Chair of the North Lincolnshire Secondary Heads and Principals group. She has been instrumental in promoting outreach work and peer support within her area, helping to set up the Peer to Peer review system now in place in North Lincolnshire.
Aleksandra is a director of Isle Education Trust, she joined the Trust in March 2015. Aleksandra also sits on the board for First College.
Aleksandra is an Employment Solicitor at Langley’s Solicitors and her specific areas of knowledge include HR support and employment matters, reviewing contracts and policies, as well as advising Academies on a wide range of issues.
